Douglas was a native of Calhoun County and a graduate from Oxford High School class of 1960. He served 17 years in the armed forces, and retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He was a member of the Anniston Street Rod Club and the Bee Association. He was a man of God and a member of Harvest Church of God. He enjoyed spending time with his family and admiring antique cars. But, the love of his life was his wife of 61 years. Mr. Borders was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed greatly, but his memory will be treasured forever.
