Funeral services for Mr. Edward Wren Ledbetter, 90, of Anniston/Oxford, will be Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Gibbs officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm prior to service time.
Mr. Ledbetter passed on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL.
Mr. Ledbetter is survived by his daughters, Debbie Minton (Steve), and Charlene Knight (Mike); sons, Ronnie Ledbetter (Linda), David Ledbetter (Markeitia) and Joel Ledbetter (Shirley); sister, Elizabeth Bues; grandchildren, Shane Ledbetter (Jennifer), Kali Parker (Harold), Ross Brown (Emily), Jackson Ledbetter, Austin Knight, Wesley Knight and Todd Knight; great-grandchildren, Matthew Pierce, Wrenley Parker and Logan Knight.
Mr. Ledbetter is preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Boggs Ledbetter; father, James Thomas Ledbetter; mother, Effie Moore Ledbetter; six brothers and four sisters, and many nieces & nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shane Ledbetter, Jackson Ledbetter, Austin Knight and Harold Parker.
Mr. Ledbetter retired from M & H Vale Company after 35 years. He is Church of God.
He loved fishing, beekeeping, woodworking and gardening. He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, Alabama football fan and supporter of the Walter Wellborn High School Panthers football team.
