Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Diane Alexander, 61 of Oxford, will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 17th 2020, at Gray Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bishop Bill Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Heflin, AL. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16th, 2020, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Alexander; sons, James Keel and his wife Julie, Damon Keel and his wife Cassey; sisters, Julia Lloyd, Linda Smith, Patricia Hudson, and Sherry Brazil; brothers, Tommy Cooper, Terry Glenn Cooper, Gary Warren, and Ray Jenks. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Alexander is proceeded in death by her parents, Braxton and Martha Price, including her brother, Lamar Warren.
Pallbearers will be James Keel, Damon Keel, Michael Smith, and Joe Ganato.
Diane was known for her love of the piano. She was an avid piano player in her church and played beautiful music as a hobby of hers. She was a graduate of Oxford High School, Class of 1977. She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed them tremendously. She is loved dearly and will be missed by all those who knew her.
