Mr. Ellis Michael Haynes

Funeral service for Mr. Ellis Michael "COWBOY" Haynes, age 64, will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Hays officiating. Mr. Haynes will lie in state one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Boiling Springs Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening, 6 – 8 p.m., at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Mr. Haynes passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Noland Hospital St. Vincent East Birmingham.

Mr. Haynes is survived by his wife, Deborah Haynes of Ohatchee; sisters, Joyce Gadzo of AZ, Sybil Gaytan (Ray) of GA, brothers, Buddy Haynes (Mary Ellen) of GA, Jimmy Haynes of NY, Jerry Haynes (Donna) of Albertville, Gene Haynes (Ona) of Fyffe; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Doug Hanks, Jeff Kelly, Brady Kelly, DeWayne Mitchell, Neal O’Leary and Joey Gadzo.

Mr. Haynes is a native of Alabama and resident of Ohatchee. He served with the National Guard and was retired as a Foreman with the City of Anniston. He was a long time member of U.G.B.A. and will be missed and loved by his many friends and family.
