Floyd Lee Sparks

Funeral Service will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Thursday August 17, 2023 at 2 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Rev. James Abernathy will be officiating. Burial will follow at Plum Springs Cemetery.

He is survived by son, Troy Sparks; sister, Claudette Anderson; brother, James Sparks; grandchildren, Shauntel Cosper (Josh), Cody Sparks (Jamie Evans), Leighton Parker (Will), Eilee Sparks, Crossley Sparks, and Brenlee Sparks; great-grandchildren, Brylee Cosper, Lennox Cosper, Arianna Sparks, Madden Cosper, and ”Baby Parker”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Marvelle Sparks; wife, Sandra Sparks; brother, Mark Sparks; son, Doug Sparks.

Pallbearers are Casey Lowery, Keith Dutton, Derek Slick, James Anderson, Josh Cosper and Will Parker.

Floyd favored his GTO; he loved the comfort and joy it brought him. He enjoyed working at Sanflo Creek Market during his lifetime. Mr. Sparks was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family dearly and the joy he had of talking and conversation will be remembered. Floyd loved his Lord and Savior.
