Fred Willis Taylor Jr.

Wellington- Funeral services for Mr. Fred Willis “Rabbit” Taylor, Jr., age 78, of Wellington, AL, will be Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor resided in Wellington and was a member of First Baptist Church of Duke.

Along with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Taylor Sr., he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, granddaughter, Rae Ann Taylor two brothers, Homer Taylor and Clyde Taylor; and sister, Nannie Lou Roper.

Mr. Taylor passed away November 27, 2014, at Piedmont Health Care.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his three children, Deborah and husband Bob Heathcock of Wellington, AL, Freddie Taylor and his wife Gloria of Alexandria, AL, and Scott Taylor and his wife Jane of Wellington, AL.; grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Kelsey Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Rana Taylor, Jeremy Heathcock, and Selina Stovall; four great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Heathcock, Ryan Taylor, Austin Taylor, Hunter Stovall, Eric Stovall, and Wayne Hurst.

Mr. Taylor served as a baseball coach and was passionate of Alexandria Football. He enjoyed sitting in his recliner and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide.
