She is survived by her daughter, Devon Weber; father, John Weber and mother, Martha Smith; sisters, Andrea McCaleb, Donna Roberts, Kimberly Bunn, Mindy Suarez, and Stephanie Baca; brother, Donald O. Smith; grandchildren, Kristopher Weber, Jackie Wright, Desmond Jelks, and Desiree Jelks; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Gayel, having a warm heart, was a loving mother and an adoring Nana, who was passionate about her work as a social worker. She was very determined and overcame many obstacles to reach her goals.
