Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Amos Smith, 78, of Jacksonville, will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013, at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Pastor James Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Rabbittown Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Smith died peacefully Monday, December 16, 2013, at Stringfellow Memorial.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Frank Smith; children, Gena S. Goodson (David) and John F. Smith (Shelia); grandchildren, Kacie G. Shell (Jeremy), Korie Goodson, Jarred Smith and Courtenay Abernathy; sister, Mary A. Haynes; brothers, Tommy, Gerald, Kenneth, Floyd and Charles Amos; and a host of nieces and nephews.
