George is survived by his daughter Brandie Lytle; and his son Jason Pierce (Marie); his sisters Grace Pool, Eloise Ginn (Daryl), Wanda Pitts (Ronald) and Rose Steen (Robert); his grandchildren Destiny Lytle, Hunter Lytle, Alex Navarro, Marisa Pierce, Jacob Pierce and Olivia Pierce, numerous nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his wife Vonda Pierce; his parents George and Florence Pierce and brother; Garvin Pierce.
Services for George will be Saturday , May 3, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 2650 McIntosh Road Oxford, Al. with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 Pm at the church.
Serving as pallbearers are John Navarro, Daryl Ginn, Matthew Ginn, Ronald Pitts, Austin Pitts and John Shaver.
George was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was a Mason and 32nd Scottish Rites. He attended Anniston High School and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Oxford. He was an avid Alabama Fan and enjoyed ScFi movies but his real passion was putting Star Trek models together.
