

Funeral services for Grace (Cissy) Sutherlin Carnes, 55, of Anniston, will be at 11 am Monday, October 7, 2013, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 – 11 am at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Grace Carnes Ogle (Matt) and Megan Carnes Holley (Landon) and their children, Madilyn and Laklynn Holley, father, Louie E. Sutherlin (Mildred Crockett Sutherlin, brother, Louie (Mac) Sutherlin (Janice), step-brothers, Stanley E. Crockett and David Crockett (Sue), step-sister, Elizabeth (Beth) Crockett Wilson, Nephews and their families, Jason Sutherlin (Deana) and their children Tyler and Kinsley and Joseph Sutherlin and his children, Kaitlyn and Aubrey Sutherlin, special friend and caregiver, Patte Shinn.
Mrs. Carnes is preceded in death by her mother Mary Elizabeth Sutherlin.
Pallbearers will be family.
Mrs. Carnes was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Bynum. Mrs. Carnes worked in the dental field for many years and also was a caregiver for the elderly. She was a Graduate of Anniston High School.
