Hazel J. Pentecost

Funeral service for Hazel Jo Gray Pentecost, 80, of Anniston, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Jim Kelley and Rev. Milton Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Pentecost died Monday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

Survivors include husband, Robert Pentecost of Anniston; son, David Pentecost and wife, Charlotte of Moody; daughters, Debby Trimble of St. Louis, MO, Penny Ford of Charlotte, NC and Peggy Miller Lacher and husband, Grady of Anniston; five grandchildren, Brett Pentecost, Brittany Pentecost, Jana Miller, Nick Ford and Tyde Lacher; numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Burton and Bertha Gray; two brothers, Albert Burton Gray, Jr. and Jack Gray.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Mrs. Pentecost was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of West Park Heights Baptist Church and the Doris Woods Sunday School Class. She worked for many years at Anniston Federal Savings and Loan and AMSouth Bank.
