Helen Francis Martin

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen K. Martin, 93, of Munford, will be Sunday, May 7th, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at the chapel of Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Pastor Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford, AL. Visitation will be May 7th,2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gray Brown Service Mortuary. Mrs. Martin passed away on May, 2nd, 2023.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonita Rouse and Patsy Dunston; brother, Jack Hyde and his wife Martha; eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, including a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her parents, William Keller and Lula Hyde; sisters, Demmera McCay, Gail McMicheal and five brothers.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Mahan, Cruiz Wade, Montressor Sudduth, Josh Dempsey, Macon Holcombe, and Chase Humphires.

Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Rouse.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Encompass Hospice, especially Emily, Erin, and Angie for the wonderful care they provided to Helen. Mrs. Helen was a long time member of Eastaboga Church of Christ. At a young age, she became an LPN and started her career at Anniston Memorial Hospital. She then transferred to work for Dr. Robert Simmons for 40 plus years. Helen is so loved and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
