Howard Mack Sparks

Funeral Services for Howard Mack Sparks, 63 of Anniston will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church with Rev’s Bill Snow and Mike Drummond officiating. Burial will follow at Plum Springs Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 on Thursday at the church. Mr. Sparks passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 in Anniston.

Survivors include his wife Jane Sparks, daughter Amanda Medlin (Jeremy), sister Claudette Anderson (James), brothers James Edward Sparks, Floyd Sparks (Sandra), grandchild Lacey Williams (Brandon), great grandchild Oakley Williams and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sparks is preceded in death by his daughter Scarlett Sparks and his parents James and Marvelle Sparks.

Pallbearers will be Doug Sparks, Troy Sparks, James Anderson, James Ingram, Jamie Ingram, Jeremy Medlin.

Mr. Sparks was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church. He served as a deacon for 35 years at other various local churches. He retired from Honeywell and was a member of Canaan Land Singers for 30 years. Mr. Sparks loved his music and guitars and was an avid animal lover.
