Ina is survived by her sister Glenda Burke Sawyer and her brother James Alton Burke; her nieces Sajuan Dickie Wilbanks, Dawn Obermeyer, Andrea Sikes, Cindy Goodwin, Valerie Webb, Tonya Whiteside and her nephews Jamie Burke, Frankie Brown and Shane Brown; and several great and great- great nieces and nephews.
Ina was preceded in death by her husband Orville Walter Borders; her parents Virgil and Willodean Burke; her sister Velva Dean Brown; her brother William Allen Burke and her niece Wendy Newsome.
A visitation for Ina will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with Bill Snow officiating.
Ina was associated with Edgewood Congregational Methodist Church. She enjoyed discovering new cooking recipes to try in the kitchen. She loved her family dearly, but her nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart. She was treasured by her family and will be greatly missed by everyone.
