Funeral service for Mr. James Ivan Mardant, 80, of Anniston, will be 11:00 am, Thursday, April 25th, 2019, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Craft officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday April 24, 2019 from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Mr. Mardant is survived by his wife Susan Mardant; daughter, Vickey Mardant; sons, Alan (Donna) Mardant and Robert “Bobby” (Katie) Mardant; grandchildren, Emily Brown., Jamie Gieseman, Bradley Mardant, and Brandon Mardant; and four great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his son, Jamey Mardant; and parents John & Isabell Mardant.
From an early age James was attracted to electronics. His dad is credited as building the first radio in Guntersville. Many people knew James as the computer man. He also worked in pest control and was very much loved by his customers. He retired from Rice pest control after many years of service. James was the type of guy that was always willing to help everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
