Memorial service for James Howard Williams, 80, will be 5 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Sam Legon officiating. Mrs. Williams passed away Monday morning at her Jacksonville RMC. Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Carmen W. Harrell; sisters, Bobbie Christopher, Martha Nunnally (Bobby), Sue Diffie (Billy), Ruth Howard (Bobby), Jo Reynolds (Lee), Jewel Thaxton (Roddy) and Gail Hughes; brothers, David Williams (Aggie), Dillard Williams (Katherine), Wayne Williams (Gail); grandchildren, Brandt Williams, Jesse Williams, Chelsea Harrell, Jada Harrell, Jodie Harrell and Hannah Kent; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene B. Williams; son, Wade Williams; great-granddaughter, Marley Harrell; parents, David and Nettie Williams and sister, Mabel Bryant.
