Janie Hendrix

She was born in Brewton, AL, January 17 1944, to the proud parents KW Yeager and Janie H. Yeager. She was the fourth child. While her oldest sibling died at birth, her brother Karl Yeager and sister Sarah Dupree still live in the Huntsville area.

After graduating Huntsville High she attended Jacksonville State where she graduated in Elementary Education and met her soulmate Bobby W. Hendrix. They were married on August 29, 1964 and were married for 52 years.They attended First Baptist Church Weaver for 50 years where she loved to to sing, teach and cook.

She is survived by her children Paigh H Robinson married to C. Scott Robinson, Karl Rex Hendrix married to Carrie W. Hendrix, and Slava Sayenko married to Alena Sayenko. Her precious grandchildren Ashley, Logan, Taylor, Tristan, Tucker, Tanner, and Angelena who all loved her greatly.

Janie is one of God's most precious children that has been called home to glory. Her visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 4-8pm at First Baptist Church Weaver. Her service will be Wednesday September 14, 2016 at 11am at the church followed by a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL at 4pm.
