Fort Payne – Graveside Services will be held for Jeanie Thomas Cummings, age 53, of Fort Payne, 2 p.m.., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Jacksonville City Cemetery, with Rev. Ben Little officiating. The family will receive friends at Chapel Hill Funeral Home from 11:30 to 1:30 today.
Mrs. Cummings passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband, Jerry Cummings; daughter, Mary White; son, Jimmy Allen Thomas; sisters, Pauline Blue, Ruby Knight; brothers, Hank Thomas, Eugene Thomas, Ernest Thomas, Douglas Thomas; grandchildren, Phenix Culbertson, Alexis Culbertson, Jaelyn Woodson, Isaiah Woodson, Dillion Vincent, Joshua Vincent, Justin Sees, Jamon Sees, Jacob Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her son, Chester Vincent; mom, Josephine Mims; brother, Robert Mims and niece, Cheyanna Cummings.
