Jeannie Sandra Brown

Ms. Brown is survived by her daughters Angela Jean Lake and Felecia Dawn Cantrell (Jeffery); her son Anthony Thomas Everett (Stephanie); her grandchildren Tasha Lynn Akiko, Sean Everett, Andrea Dawn Frank, Scott Anthony Frank, John Allen Frank, Anna Kate Cantrell, her nephew Joshua Alton Brown and numerous great-grandchildren.

Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents Emmett Jeffrey Brown and Emma Joyce Dover; and her brothers Perry Alton Brown and Jeffery Lynn Brown.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Brown will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 beginning at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior. A burial will follow services at Crook Cemetery, Ohatchee, Alabama.

Jeannie lived an extraordinary life, embracing her passion for freedom and adventure. Her love for travel was only rivalled by her affinity for the beach, where she found serenity and peace. Later in life, she rediscovered her desire to serve others, pursuing a nursing degree and culminating her career at Jacksonville nursing home. She was profoundly cherished by her children, her loyal best friend Sheila McGee, and a vast network of friends and family. Her passing will be deeply felt by many, but most especially by her children.
