Jewell Anthony Howington

Jewell Anthony Howington (Andy), age 58, of Oxford, Alabama entered into heaven on Friday, January 10, 2025. Andy had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior who put all of his faith in God. Andy's most notable quality was his unwavering devotion to his children; Hunter, Sue, April, and grandchildren. Our hearts mourn without him, but we press forward and endure knowing that he is with Jesus.

Andy is survived by his son, Hunter Scott Howington; Daughters, Suzanne Howington Gunter (Matt), and daughter April Howington. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Freeman and father Jewell Junior Howington; siblings Horace Jackson Tolbert III, Shasta Quick (Tony), Shannon Lindsey (Bill) and Cammie Howington; grandchildren, Holli Grace Johnson, Trevor Mathew Gunter, and Reagan Jace Gunter, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Andy was preceded in death by his, grandmother, Willie Mae Giles (Ralph).

A memorial service to celebrate Andy's life will be held at Jenifer Baptist Church in Munford, Al on January 24th, 2025 at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
