Jo Ann Hodges

Funeral service for Jo Ann Hodges, 75 of Anniston will be 1 pm, Friday, May 5, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Jimmy Denham officiating. Burial will follow at Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hodges died Monday at her residence.

She is survived by two sons, David O’Dell, Barry O’Dell (Mary Parris) and three daughters, Carol Covington (Stanley Moore), Janice Greene and Cindy Dothard (DeWayne Dobbins); three sisters, Lorene Carroll, Sandra Maye and Sue Chastain; brother, Charles Denham; seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hodges is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Mary Denham; two sons, Calvin O’Dell and Kenneth O’Dell; three brothers, Harold Denham, Bud Denham and Jerry Denham and a sister, Nadine Cates.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are B.J. Pankey and Dennis Denham.

She retired after 34 years of service from Tape Craft. She loved her flower gardens and her family and will be greatly missed.
