Memorial service for Joel Dennis Stanfield, 56, of Anniston, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Gray Brown-Service with Rev. Don Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Survivors include mother, Joyce Stanfield Hicks and husband James; sister, Brenda S. Moore and husband Michael; nephew, Jeramie Moore and wife Sallie; niece, Lindsay M. Humphries and husband Todd; two great nieces and three great nephews.
Mr. Stanfield is preceded in death by father, Bobby Lee Stanfield; and brother, Barry Duane Stanfield.
Mr. Stanfield was a longtime resident of Anniston and a graduate of Weaver High School. He was an outdoorsmen where he enjoyed spending time hunting. He had a great love for Indian culture and collected arrowheads.
