Jonathan Brooks

Funeral Services for Mr. Jonathan Aaron Brooks, 38, of Anniston, will be 11 am, Monday, July 25th, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Haynie officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 5 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Brooks passed away Wednesday evening at RMC.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Amanda Brooks; daughter, Erica Brooks; son, Noah Brooks; mother, Kathy Brooks; father, Norris Brooks; sisters, Elaine Brooks and Ellen Hester; nieces, Jamey and Shelby Boatman.

Mr. Brooks is preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Lois Brooks, Albert and Marie Williams; uncle, David Williams.

Pallbearers will be, Clarence Stewart, Danny Butterworth, Mike Drummond, John Waugh, Luke Waugh, and Steve Johnson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chad Ford.

Mr. Brooks was a resident of Calhoun County where he attended Saks High School. He was also an avid Buck Knives collector. Mr. Brooks was of the Baptist faith and served 21 years as a pastor and youth minister. Romans 1:16: “FOR I AM NOT ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST….”
