Joyce C. Howell

Funeral services for Joyce C. Howell, 79 of Anniston will be at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Eulaton United Methodist Church with Rev. Virgil Bohn. Burial will following in the adjacent cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00 pm, at the church.

Mrs. Howell passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Jacksonville Health and Rehabilitation.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roy S. Howell; her daughter, Michelle Harman and her husband Ronnie; son, Andrew Howell and his wife Susan; grandchildren, Brittny McVey and husband Jerry and Clinton Howell and wife Katey; great-grandchildren, Corban McVey and John Carter Howell; her sister, Ada Lorine Nowland and husband Calvin and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry "Doc" and Maudie Carter and her brother, Joel Carter.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Howell, Greg Daugherty, Scott Woodrow, Ray Beal, Ronnie Harman and Jerry McVey.

Mrs. Howell was a member of Eulaton United Methodist Church and retired from Anniston Army Depot.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her.
