Julia Newell

She is preceded in death by her father- Edward Medryk, sisters- Angela(John) Bammerlin, Sylvia (Jim) Medryk and Ruthie Surrett; daughter-Sheila Pressley.

Mrs. Newell was born in Germany but came to the United States when she was only 3 years old. She lived her early life in Chicago then later moved to Alabama where she was a longtime resident of Calhoun County. Julie never met a stranger, she loved everyone and she loved her dog Rosco. Her family was everything to her. She was full of life and would always help take care of other people. She was very outgoing and loved the outdoors. Julie enjoyed going to Cheaha and anything that spends time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Newell; son- Keith (Buzz) Pressley; daughter-Jillian Williamson; mom- Ursula Hanke Medryk; grandchildren, Ashley Pressley, Raven Pressley, Branton Pressley, Jayla Newell and Anniston Frakes; great-grandchildren, Aniyah Lindsey and Karter Lindsey; sisters- Inga(Nick)DeAquino, Becky(Gary) Kaluzny, Heidi (Jerry) Attaway; brothers- Norbet Hanke, Edward(Liz) Medryk and Michael Medryk.

Bonus Children/Grandchildren- Amy Newell, Jessica Newell, Kayne Newell, Kassey Newell, Mathew Newell, Olivia Lemons, Blake Lemons and Amelia Newell. Julie had lots of special nieces and nephews.
