Oxford – Graveside services for Mr. Kenneth Lamar Pettus, 72 of Oxford will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Barry Sutton officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 12:00- 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Pettus passed away March 25, 2013 at his home in Oxford.
Mr. Pettus is survived by his daughter, Kim and husband Tim Hurst; brothers, Jerry, Scott, and Blake Pettus; grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Hurst.
Pallbearers will be Kyle and Tim Hurst, Blake Pettus, Matt Wood, Caleb Calhoun, and Brent Short.
Mr. Pettus was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Pettus; mother, Hazel McKibbon Pettus.
Mr. Pettus was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County, and he served in the U.S. Navy.
