Kenneth Wayne Ramsey

Graveside services for Kenneth W. Ramsey, 60, of Eastaboga, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. C.O. Grinstead officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Mr. Ramsey passed away Sunday at his residence surrounded by family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ramsey; step-sons, Jason Holley (Amy), Michael Holley (Kristie), Barry Smith (Misty) and John Turner; grandchildren, Ethan Holley, Issac Holley, Emma Holley, Caleb Holley, Haley Smith, Hannah Smith, Addison Smith and Kesley Smith; his siblings, Charles Ramsey (Shirley), Frankie Finch (Jerry), Earnestine Murphy, Faye Nowland (Joe Wayne), Ricky Ramsey (Connie), Rita Nelson (James) and Ragan Ramsey (Donna); and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ramsey is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Louise Ramsey and niece, Nickki Ramsey.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Smith, Ronald Winn, Benny Holderfield, Gerald Nowland, Mark Nowland and Bill Cody.

Mr. Ramsey was employed 35 years at Super Value Distribution and attended Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed Alabama football and fishing at his place on the river. Special thanks to the staff of New Beacon Hospice for the care given.
