Linda was faithful in the way she held close what mattered most, and devoted to her family with a steady, unwavering love. She put her children first, and her loyalty and compassion were felt in the everyday ways she cared, listened, and showed up. She never met a stranger, and she especially loved entertaining her friends—welcoming others with a warmth that made people feel at home.
Linda found joy in the simple pleasures that filled her days: playing Bingo, watching old movies and detective shows—especially Matlock—working word puzzles, and admiring roses. Pink was her favorite color, a bright reflection of the gentle happiness she brought to those around her.
Her children, and grandchildren meant the world to Linda, and her love for them will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Linda is survived by her son, Tim Hicks (Rita); her brother, William Palmer (Stella); her grandchildren, Justin Hicks (Amber), Jason Hicks (Tie), Courtney Hicks (Richard), Selina Pierce (Chuck), Charles Nobles Jr. ( Meagan), Blake Nobles (Codi); and her great-grandchildren, Taylor Tillman, Kelsey Rhoads, Hali Rhoads, Grason Nobles, Wilder Nobles, Oliver Walley, Hunter Hicks, Kyle Hicks, Heather Hicks, Hali Hicks, Karleigh Bennett, and Stetson Nobles.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Curvin, father; William Palmer; her mother; Annie Palmer; and her sisters; Jimmie Coppock, Olene Martin, and Annette Cobb.
