Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Skinner; father, A.J. Thomason; and mother, Ruth Thomason.
Linda is survived by her brother; Allen Thomason (Donna), step-son; David Skinner (Lakeetha), nephew; Cody Thomason, and grandchildren; Mahala Skinner, and Mya Skinner.
Linda loved to travel and went to visit Washington DC with her best friend Judy and they always spent every night chatting on the phone. She went to Alaska and Mexico also. Linda loved her family and loved watching the Atlanta Braves.
She loved spending time with her nephew Cody and they had a special bond and enjoyed every minute they had together. Her step furbaby Milo was her best companion and spent so much time together. She was a Christian and a great friend to all who knew her. Her kindness and love for others will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21st in the Chapel at Chapel Hill starting at 11 AM, officiated by Pastor Richie Ponder. The family will receive friends for an hour prior starting at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Gardens in Anniston Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Cody Thomason, David Skinner, Johnny Cockrell, and Danny Price, with honorary pallbearers Greg Skinner and Jeff Boozer.
