Loraine B Howard

Ohatchee – Funeral services for Mrs. Loraine Howard, 86, will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rick Foote officiating with burial to follow at Crook Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Howard passed on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her daughter, Scarlet (Jim) Bryant; sons, Dan (Teresa) Howard, and Mike (Robbie) Howard; grandchildren, Sharon Bryant, Kristi Howard, Justin Bryant, Joel Bryant, Kelli Howard Real, Stacey Howard Whitehead, Brad Howard, Jesse Bryant, Samantha Bryant Tolleson, and Kyle Howard; nineteen great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.

Pallbearers will be Justin Bryant, Joel Bryant, Brad Howard, Jesse Bryant, Kyle Howard, and Phillip Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters, and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Howard; mother, Bertha Bentley; father, Clarence Bentley; and sister, Betty Hogue.

Mrs. Howard was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church for 72 years where she was a Sunday school teacher, a member of Woodman of the World. She was loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was employed with Ft. McClellan.
