Louise is survived by her daughter Patsy Young (Arthur); and her son Brian Henderson (Patti Jennings); her grandchildren Steve Smith (Kelly), Amy Henderson Hall, Emily Morgan Moses (Justin), Lisa Henderson Veteto (Jimmy) and Kelly Barnes Prince, Ross Young (Samantha), Matt Young, her great grandchildren Ava Hall, Jayden Smith, Cy Hall, Asher Moses, Gavin Veteto, Levi Moses and Jonah Veteto, Justin Young, Alyssa Young Newton (Alex), Reagan Young, her great great grandchildren Remington Newton, Lydia Newton, and Harper Young.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Earnest Henderson; her daughter Sandy Henderson Smith and her son Dennis Henderson; her mother Lorene Hyatt and her father George Rutherford.
A visitation for Louise will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201. Following the visitation will be a graveside at 3:00 PM at Edgemont Cemetery with Dr. Van Lockridge officiating.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Louise was a native of Piedmont and a resident of Anniston, Alabama. She worked for Blue Mountain Industries for over 30 years and was a charter member of Indian Oaks Christian Church. Louise taught Sunday School and Bible School and was a Girl Scout leader. She was a member of Anniston Pilot Club and was an influence and loved others and will be greatly missed. Also a special thanks to the following Encompass Hospice staff members who faithfully and lovingly cared for our mother: Kristen Rivers, Lakashia Hollows, Dale Hollingsworth, Rodney Gardner and Bridget Mackey. one more thanks to Priscilla Kyle who also helped care for her.
