A celebration of life service will be held in honor of Ludie Mae Vincent on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, Alabama 36201 with the Rev. John Whetstone officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm for visitation. The burial/graveside service will be immediately following the funeral service Friday, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cane Creek Farm Road, Anniston, Alabama 36250.
Ludie is survived by her daughter Wanda Campbell (William); her daughter-in-law Charlotte Vincent; her grandchildren Adam Campbell (Amy), David Campbell, Loren Vincent (Jennifer), Alisa Huffaker (William); her great grandchildren Allison Campbell, AJ Campbell, Logan Vincent, Lyndon Vincent, William Huffaker (C.J.), and Collin Huffaker (Haley); her great great grandchildren Case Huffaker, Zoey Huffaker, Lucas Huffaker and Drake Huffaker.
Ludie was preceded in death by her husband Henry Eugene Vincent; her sons Eugene Vincent and Larry Vincent; her parents Thornton and Nancy Ann Hutton.
Ludie enjoyed painting, gardening and tending to her flowers in her yard. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also an avid reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of her favorite books. As a member of Eastaboga Baptist Church, Ludie's faith was a guiding force in her life. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched with her kindness, generosity and love.
The family would like to express a sincere "thank you" to the entire staff at Autumn Cove Assisted Living for their undying devotion to Ludie. They went above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect of care and love. Their dedication will never be forgotten.
