Funeral service for Lydia Andrews, 93, of Jacksonville, will be 11:00 am, Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Jesse Barksdale and Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Andrews died Tuesday morning at her residence.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Smith, and Doris Moore (Tony); sons, Jack Andrews, Cecil Andrews, Clayton Andrews (Shirley), John Andrews, and Perry Andrews; sister, Myrtle Harrelson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren
Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her husband, John Nowlin Andrews; children, Jimmy Andrews, and Knox Andrews; grandson, Dino Smith, and Jesse Andrews; two sisters and one brother.
