Margaret Ilene Doyle, 66, of Oxford, Alabama, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 8, 2026. Born on April 20, 1959, Margaret lived a life marked by deep faith, love for her family, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
Margaret was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Michael Doyle, with whom she shared the better part of 39 wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was filled with laughter, faith, and unwavering commitment to one another.
She was a faithful member of Cheaha Baptist Church and proudly lived as a born-again Christian and servant of Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she shared that love and kindness freely with family, friends, and everyone blessed to cross her path.
Margaret loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. She was also a proud and loving "dog mom" to her beloved fur babies, Lily and Reba, who brought her great joy.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Doyle of Oxford; her bonus daughters, Jennifer Hayes (Matthew) and Amanda Sullivan (Teddy); and her cherished grandchildren, Nicola, Jack, Olivia, Madeleine, and Clair. Margaret also leaved behind her loving siblings, Donna Reaves (Stan), Bonnie Harris (Rick), JR (Lori), and Luann (Lou). She was a treasured aunt to 11 nieces and nephews, a proud great-aunt to 12 great-nieces and great-nephews, and a delighted great-great-aunt to Mattox Jae.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clarence and Betty Adams.
Margaret embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and rarely missed cheering them on. She also loved the music of George Strait, enjoyed playing bingo, and treasured traveling and making memories with those she loved. Her laughter, warmth, and generous heart made every gathering brighter.
Those who knew Margaret will remember her for her unwavering faith, and loving spirit, and the way she made everyone feel like family. While her presence will be deeply missed, her loved ones find comfort knowing she is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior.
The family would like to thank the staff at Amedisys Home Health and Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care. They would also like to express their gratitude to Dr. Davenport and her staff, as well as the nurses at Davita Dialysis and the caring team at Regional Medical Center for the kindness and support shown during Margaret's care.
Services for Margaret will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 1:00PM at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will be held at Montevallo National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Margaret's honor to the Ronald McDonald House or Children's Miracle Network.
Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
