Margaret is survived by her sons Wayne Stedham (Jettie) and Tommy Stedham; and her daughter Alice Byrd (Tom); her sister Janice Burt (Ransom) and her brother Barney Murray (Dorcas); her grandchildren Jordan Sanvictores and Matthew Byrd.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers H. Woodrow Murray Jr.; and Robert Murray her sisters Louise Franks; and Gloria Peoples McCraken.
Funeral services for Margaret will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Ken Ballard and Rev. Matthew Blair officiating. Burial will follow at Rabbittown Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation for Margaret will begin at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jim St. Cyr, Jeff St. Cyr, Mark Franks, Jip Peoples, Bobby Moran, Larry Moran and Tom Byrd.
Margaret was a long time resident of Anniston, Al. and a graduate of Anniston High School. She was a volunteer at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital for a long time and she faithfully attended Church of The Cross and Northside Baptist Church where she also volunteered in the childcare ministry and homebound visitation ministry. Margaret ran a bakery business out of her home for many years and enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family and friends. She was a resident of Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
