A graveside service will be held for Martha Ann Burgess, 75, of Anniston, at 1pm on Tuesday, February 17th at Edgemont Cemetery with Rev. Ken Ballard officiating. Mrs. Burgess died Saturday afternoon at Riverchase Golden Living in Birmingham.
Survivors include her children Scott Burgess (Lisa), David Burgess, and Lisa Beal (Ken); Sister Alice Hanvey; Granchildren Brooklyn Roberts, Bradley Burgess, and Ashley Beal; and two great grandchildren Alexander Scott Burgess and Emily Anne Burgess.
Mrs. Burgess is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jackson Burgess and her parents Albert and Lorena Morton.
Mrs. Burgess was a committed Christian and lifelong resident of Anniston. She was a graduate of Anniston High school and retired from Regions Bank.
