Mary Elizabeth Dyer

Visitation for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dyer, age 80, of Anniston, Alabama, will be Thursday, March 13th, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Friday, March 14th, 2025, 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home, with her son David Bush officiating. Burial will take place at Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Dyer passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

She is survived by her children, David Bush, Gary Bush, Robin Kelley, and Susan Hammett (Stan), including 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Wayman and Scottie Bryant and her 10 siblings.

Pallbearers will be Shannon G. Kelley, Aaron S. Kelley, Freddie Montgomery, Jason Haynes, Harold Landers, and Tyler England.

Born and raised in Coosa County, Alabama, Mary was one of the sweetest people you would know.The little kids were always happy to see Mawmaw coming. She would always have gum and candy in her pocket for them. They would want Mawmaw to sing them songs and play all kinds of games together. Mary had a love for everyone and loved her fur babies a lot. She will be missed by so many that loved her.
