Mary Frances Perry

Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Cross, 1600 Greenbrier Dear Road, Anniston, AL. with Rev. Ken Ballard and Rev. Matt Blair officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, John Harel Perry; her parents Alvin Curry Herndon and Anni Lee Herndon; her sisters Juanita Smith, Barbara Vaughn and JoAnn Hassett. She is survived by her three daughters, Kristi Lawley (aka Mary junior), Joni Morrison (Dale), and Wendi Wheeler (Rick) and a special nephew Scott Perry. Also her beloved caregiver for over three years, Donna Mcleod, her grandchildren: Jeremiah Wells (Holly), Micah Lawley (Sasha), Amber Morrison, Kayce Masaniai (David), Jacob Wilson (Heather), Daniel Wilson (Morgan); great grandchildren: Gavin Wells, Brooklyn, Bradleigh and Hudson Lawley, Aviana Estamponi, Gabriel, Josselyn, Elliana, and Oliver Masaniai. Weston Beverly and Ryleigh Wilson and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Perry worked as executive secretary for Tyson Foods for over 30 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother (Nanny) and great grandmother and follower of Christ. This was exemplified in her daily life. She spent many years serving alongside her husband who was an elder at Church of the Cross. She loved Alabama football, the Atlanta Braves and could out shop her daughters even in her 80s.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her additional caregivers: Judy Morgan, Diana Means and Vicki Whitehead.

Pallbearers will be son in laws and grandsons.
