She is survived by her daughter Linda Sue Williams and her son Keith Williams (Christie), ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Griffin L. Williams and her parents Arthur and Bennie Stamps.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Jerry Starling officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Newell, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 just prior to the service.
Serving as pallbearers are Ryan Williams, Cory Williams, Randy Stamps, Mike Stinson, Chris Gooden and Ramon Nelson.
Mary was born in Ranburne, Alabama in Cleburne County and graduated from Ranburne High School. She has since resided in Oxford, Alabama and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Her favorite pastimes included cooking, sewing and growing flowers. A loving mother and friend, she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Special thanks to Stephanie Siemen and Bertha Miller for the excellent care they provided to our mother over the past three years and also to Amedisys Hospice for being there to comfort her during her final days.
