

Anniston – Funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Graves, 84, of Anniston will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Newborn, and Rev. James Deese officiating with burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Graves passed on Friday, April 22, 2017 at her home in Anniston.
Mrs. Graves is survived by her husband, Walker “Junior” Graves; son, Terry (Mary) Graves; sister, Marjory Beam; grandsons, Terry William (Christy) Graves, and Joseph Walker (Renae) Graves; great-grandchildren, Calie Annette Graves, Cody Race Graves, Cayla Maxine Graves, Cruz Walker Graves, and Cade Christopher Graves.
Mrs. Graves was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Shirley Richey; father, Rev. Hiram Richey; brother, Kenneth Richey; granddaughters, Catlin Graves, and Catie Graves; nephews, Tony Beam, Steve Richey, and Chris Richey.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Conner, David Clark, Ronald Richey, Phillip Tucker, Brian Roberts, Gerald Snyder, and Keith Graves.
Mrs. Graves was a native of DeKalb county and resident of Calhoun County, a member of Open Door Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for their love and care.
