Funeral Mass for Nora K. Brownell, 98, of Anniston, will be 11am Monday, October 17th, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bryan Lowe officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. Mrs. Brownell passed away Wednesday at her home.
Survivors include her son, William Brownell Jr. (Carolyn)of Anniston; daughter Sharron Jones (Tim)of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren William Brownell III (Kena) of Birmingham and Lindsay Asson (Paul) of Manchester, England; five great-grandchildren; and brother Elbert Kilgore (Millie) of Chattanooga.
Mrs. Brownell is preceded in death by her husband William Brownell Sr.; parents Frank V. and Lydia Curvin Kilgore; and several siblings
Mrs. Brownell native of Anniston, a graduate of JSU, an employee of Alabama Health System, and worked 20 years for the Arabian American Oil Co. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed.
