Norma Doris Medders Gross

Norma Doris Medders Gross, 89 of Anniston passed away after a short illness. Funeral will be held at Gray Brown Service Mortuary, Steve Harbottle and Drew Kizer officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held Monday, June 5 at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery. Her family will receive guest beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral.

Norma is survived by her children, Thomas Dillard Gross (Linda), Myra Lee Gross Poss (Ormand), Melanie Lou Gross Turner (Terry), Margaret Lynn Gross New (Joseph), Stephen William Gross (Teressa), and James Barry Gross (Debbie); her brother, Douglas Wadsworth Medders; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Clarence Gross; her parents, Dillard Waco Medders and Thelma Lee Evans Medders and grandson, Devin Lee Turner.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Trey Poss, John Gross, Jonathan New, Lee Turner and Jeff Gross. Additional pallbearers are Danny Medders and Jerry Collins.

She was one of the founding members of the Weaver Church of Christ. A faithful servant of God, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
