Patricia (Patsy) Ann Waites

Mrs. Patricia (Patsy) Ann Burchfield Waites, age 73, of Gadsden Alabama, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Riverview Regional Hospital. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, October 26th from 1-3, with the memorial service beginning at 3:00. Pastor Rick Blythe will conduct the ceremony at Gadsden Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 120 Baswell St, 35901.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mary Burchfield of Gadsden Alabama.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lee Waites, her loving children, Deborah Lynn Golden (Jerry), Allen Golden (Margaret), Rodeny Golden (Dena), and her precious grandchildren Candice, Valerie, Bridget, Allen Tyler, Lexie, Jackson, and great grandchildren, Kenneth & Kaitlyn and two expected great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Ray (Mary Anne) Burchfield Jr., Paul Burchfield, Steven (Debbie) Burchfield, Faye McGinnis, Bobbi Bridges, and Ramona Burchfield.

Patsy grew up in Gadsden Al and graduated from Emma Sansom High School. She was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her hobbies included suduko, puzzles, crocheting, and playing guitar with her husband.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
