Rachel Greene Burt

Rachel is survived by her brothers Eugene Greene and James Greene (Nancy); her nieces Denise Hicks (Roger), Carolyn Aldredge (Matt), Beverly Lovell (Alan), Alice Landfair (Adam), Deborah Greene; her nephews Adam Greene (Denise), Aubrey Greene; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Jim Burt; her father Julius Greene, her mother Alice Key; her sister Martha Hayes and her brother in law Horace Hayes; her niece Lanita Eason.

Funeral services for Rachel will be Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Burgess Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 PM at the church. A meal will be served at the church immediately following the burial.

Serving as pallbearers are Alan Lovell, Adam Landfair, Jacob Champion, Shaun Harper, David Chandler, Matt Aldredge, Clay Aldredge and James Cagle and Denton Plummer.

Rachel was a long time member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She was known as a dog lover and was kind and generous to her family and friends.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor to Holly Springs Baptist Church.
