Ricky "Heath" Jennings

Ohatchee – Funeral service for Mr. Ricky “Heath” Jennings, 28, of Ohatchee will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jennings passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at Gadsden RMC.

Mr. Jennings is survived by his wife, Kayla Jennings; daughter, Lainy Taylor Jennings; mother, Tammy Turner and step-father, Ronnie Turner; chosen parents, Steve and Jerria Carter; sisters, Mandy Jennings and Bobbie Stone; brothers, Jason Jennings, Kevin Freeman, Billy Stone; chosen brothers, Josh Carter, Eric Carter and Nic Carter; grandfather, Vernon Wyatt and several nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be Wesley Walker, Scotty Halasz, Jerome Hunt, Jason Jennings, Kevin Freeman, Billy Stone, Tyler Parris and Joel Henderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Carter, Josh Carter, Eric Carter, Nic Carter, Brian Jennings, Rob Jennings and Chad Turner

Mr. Jennings was a native of and lifelong resident of Calhoun County where he graduated from Ohatchee High School and Gadsden State.

Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by his father, Ricky Jennings; grandparents, Carl and Sue Jennings; grandmother, JoAnn Wyatt and nephew, Taylor Parmer
