David Smith, 72 of Anniston passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at his residence. David was born August 10, 1948 to Andrew and Josephine Smith in Alabama.
David is survived by his loving brother Ronnie Smith, and his extended family, Rev. Christopher Jacobs, Neil and Elaine Lloyd, Cynthia, Ollie, ShaKevin, ShaKyia, ShaKarious, and Willie Ray Jacobs..
David is preceded on death by his parents Andrew and Josephine Smith and several other siblings.
Graveside service will be Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Forestlawn Gardens.
David left a lasting impression on everyone he met that gave him the opportunity to know him. With his child like heart he would ride his bicycle around town and visit various establishment just to visit and say hi. Occasionally he needed his bicycle worked on and I was more than happy to help. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. RIP my friend.
