River Cole Gunter

March 2nd, 2023 – May 20th, 2023

Funeral services for River Cole Gunter, will be Saturday, May 27th, 2023, 12:00 p.m. at Iron City Baptist Church, with Pastor James Roper officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at the Iron City Community Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Madison and Alex Gunter; great-grandparents, Sarah Strickland, Sally Burke (Alton), Betty Gunter, Nicolette Horn, Charles and Sarah Smith; grandparents, Stephanie Carroll (Johnny Smith), Dewayne Gunter (Cory); brother and sister, Raelynn and Ryker; uncles, Mickey Kulp, Marcus Gunter Jeffery Gunter, Frank Gunter, Jefferson Smith; aunts, Sarah Gunter, Jasmine Gonova; cousins, Shelby Salmon, C.J. Gardner (Abbi), Jessica Weltsen (Ace), Kamern Gunter, Tyler Pugh (Amy), and Hannah Pugh.

River is preceded in death by Michael Allen Kulp Sr., Thomas Carroll, Ethal Rhodes, J.W. Gunter, Lyle Horn, Anton Serousek, Clarence Patterson, Carl Gardner, Jayden Coomes, David Carroll, Noah Carroll, Jeff Hollis; aunts, Pam Carroll, Roseann Scherbarth, Tammi Williams.
