Robert "Bob" Kane

Robert (BOB) is survived by his wife Mary of 58 years, a son: Michael (Melissa) Kane of Anniston, 3 Daughters: Brenda (Jay) Singer of Columbia, S.C., Linda (Steve) Dixon of Lakemont, GA., and Kimberly Heintzelman of Saks. 10 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Grandchildren. One Sister: Leita Spargur of Oklahoma, and a Brother: Jimmy Kane of Virginia.

Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Army and United States Air Force for over 32 years. Robert received numerous awards and decorations for his service to our country to include a Bronze Star. Robert "PawPaw" was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend to all who ever knew him.

Robert’s favorite place was Starbucks which he visited everyday for 12 years. Thank you to the staff (Tammy, Catina, Cody, Beth, Kim and Matt) for showing kindness to Bob and Mary every visit.

A special thank you to the Southern Beacon Hospice in Anniston, Alabama, especially to Patty Waits for her love, compassion, support and care of Robert and Also Cassidy Barker of Chapel Hill Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Robert will be at Maple Grove Cemetery off of 431 in Alexandria, on Monday the 27th of January, 2020 at 2pm.
