Ruby G. Vaughn

Saks – Funeral service for Mrs. Ruby G. Vaughn, age 94 will be 2:00p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Scott Whetstone and Rev. Jerry Foote officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vaughn passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Stevens and husband Jack of Saks; son, Larry Vaughn and wife Jo Anne of Colorado Springs, CO.; sister, Dorothy Minshew and husband Harlon of Birmingham; four grandchildren, David Stevens and wife Kim of Jacksonville, Julia Hill of Anniston, Carrie Vaughn of Longmont, CO.; two great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Jackson Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Vaughn is a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a homemaker and a member of Gladeview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Vaughn is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Vaughn; parents, Charlie and Maggie Green; and three sisters.
