Sarah is survived by her daughters Linda Howe (Dwight) and Sara Ann McCain (David); her sons David Rainwater and Lamar Rainwater (Susie); her grandchildren Twelve, her great grandchildren Fourteen, her great great grandchildren Four and her nephew Terry Davis.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Rainwater; her parents Jessie and Mary Davis.
Funeral services for Sarah will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Parker Memorial Baptist Church, 1205 Quintard Ave. Anniston, Alabama with Dr. Mack Amis officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Sarah was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church. She was a member of the Cathy Wiesner Sunday School Class. She loved cooking and being around her family. Sarah was a loving mother, grandmother to a host of grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. A special thanks to the staff and caregivers at NHC for the care they provided for our mother.
